CMS Circle Workshop Series organised by School of Islamic Studies Department of Philosophy and Religious Studies and the Department of Sociology is starting with its first workshop event named “Understanding Muslim Subjectivities in Local and Global Contexts: Approaches and Methods” on 15 May 2026, at 09:30-17:00 in Süleymaniye Campus Darul Kurra in English. The trainers of the workshops will be Assoc. Prof. Kirsten Wesselhoeft, Asst. Prof. Tesnim Khriji Chirchi, Asst. Prof. Mehmet Ali Başak and Lecturer Asst. Prof. Intissar Kherigi. Lecturer Asst. Prof. Nesibe Demir will deliver a research presentation on “Muslim Youth Subjectivities in Türkiye”. MA, PhD and 4th year undergraduate students can attend the event.
