Assist. Prof. Büşra Sıdıka Kaya at our School of Islamic Studies presented a paper at the "Values for Impact: Solidarity, Authenticity and Prosperity" conference in Sarajevo University.

Assist. Prof. Büşra Sıdıka Kaya, a faculty member at our Scool of Islamic Studies, participated and presented at the "Values for Impact: Solidarity, Authenticity and Prosperity" conference held in International Sarajevo University on 23-24 September 2026.

During the conference, Kaya presented her paper titled "Tangible Legacies of Knowledge and Sustainable Impact: Assessing Bosnia's Intellectual and Economic Resilience through Mamluk Manuscripts in the Gazi Husrev-Beg Library". Her research focused on Mamluk-era manuscripts housed in the historic Gazi Husrev-Beg Library, offering an academic evaluation of Bosnia’s deep-rooted intellectual heritage and economic sustainability.

The international event, which explored critical themes such as Islamic moral economy, social impact, and participatory finance, was organized in collaboration with the International University of Sarajevo and the Islamic Development Bank Institute (IsDBI).
