A student who successfully completes the program graduates with the following knowledge, skills, and competence:
- Demonstrate knowledge of, at least, one of the following fields; History of Religions, Psychology, and Sociology of Religion, at the level of expertise and establishes its relationship with other disciplines / identifies its association with the other disciplines.
- Know and evaluate the main sources of the discipline he/she prefers as an area of expertise and successfully utilize them in his/her research.
- Demonstrate comprehensive knowledge of the main texts and theories in he/her chosen field; Explain, compare, and contrast according to local and universal context.
- Demonstrate knowledge of the basic concepts, subjects, methods, and problems of his/her discipline and express them consistently.
- Keep himself/herself constantly updated following the recent developments and discussions in his/her area of expertise via reliable sources in Turkish, Arabic, and English.
- Critically evaluate the historical experience and accumulation of knowledge in his/her discipline and utilizes them in scientific studies.
- Use the expert knowledge and skills from his/her field considering individual and social needs.
- Know how to organize the processes of academic knowledge production from beginning to end; complies with the ethical rules of academic integrity in his/her research and develop social consciousness and responsibility to act for the benefit of society and individuals.
- Make use of at least three languages at an advanced level, thus establishing permanent connections with well-esteemed scientific circles at the national and global levels.
