School of Islamic Studies organized a special Graduation Dinner on 15 May 2026 for its senior students who have successfully completed the 2025-2026 academic year and reached the threshold of graduation.
Leaving the most defining chapter of their academic journeys behind, the young scholar candidates shared the joy of graduation alongside their professors and peers.
Held in a warm and heartfelt atmosphere on campus, the program was honored by the presence of our Rector, Prof. Atilla Arkan, the Dean of the School of Islamic Studies Prof. Hacı Mehmet Günay, our distinguished faculty members, and our beloved graduating students.
In a departure from traditional podium speeches, the program unfolded as an interactive conversation where professors and students gathered in a close-knit circle to engage in a reciprocal exchange of views, yielding insightful perspectives for the future. In these dynamic dialogues led closely by our Rector, Prof. Atilla Arkan, and our Dean, Prof. Hacı Mehmet Günay, the invaluable privilege of the multilingual and multifaceted education offered at Ibn Haldun University was once again highlighted.
Through mutual reflections, the faculty members and students discussed how this high-caliber education, which seamlessly blends the classical heritage of Islamic sciences with modern social sciences methodology, serves as a strategic asset in generating intellectual solutions to contemporary challenges. The graduates shared with their professors the profound confidence and vision instilled in them by this world-class education.
As the interactive program continued over dinner, students took the floor to fondly reminisce about the years spent under the university roof and the collaborative studies carried out shoulder-to-shoulder in the library. Receiving final tokens of advice and blessings from the professors who guided them throughout their academic lives, the graduates took immense pride in leaving behind a highly successful tenure.
The program concluded with a group photo session that will forever preserve the memories of this meaningful day. The young graduates were then warmly sent off toward new horizons, ready to deploy their accumulated knowledge for the benefit of humanity.
