School of Islamic Studies is organizing an event titled “Publishing in International Indexed Journals in Islamic Studies”. Res. Assist. & PhD Candidate Halil İbrahim Yılmaz (Sakarya University School of Theology), Res. Assist. Dr. Mahmut Cihat İzgi (Sakarya University, Middle East Institute), Assist. Prof. Enes Ensar Erbay (Bilecik Şeyh Edebali University, School of Islamic Studies) and Assist. Prof. Samet Şenel (Trabzon University, School of Theology) will make a presentation at the event. The event will be moderated by our faculty member Prof. Dr. Bilal Aybakan.
In the event, the process of publishing in journals with high impact factors and international indexes (SSCI & AHCI) in the field of Islamic research will be discussed. During the session, academics who have recently published in this field will share with the participants the methods of finding journals, application and referee processes, revision strategies and the difficulties that may be encountered in the publication process based on their own experiences.
The event will be held online via Zoom on Wednesday, November 27, 2024 at 20.00.
